Had a fantastic dinner before The Muny tonight. The wine was even better than the food (and the food was great). Tomorrow’s weigh-in should be delightful.

At the restaurant we saw John O’Hurley (Seinfeld). He’s in town rehearsing for next week’s show. My blurry discreet photo wasn’t so discreet. At the show I met Jeff Small (local television reporter) in line for the restroom. He was about as nice as you can be in the line for the restroom. He was so nice I had to opt for the photo from afar after I walked away.

Needless to say, today was exercise free.

No exercise today. I enjoyed happy hour after a work retreat and then music and a picnic at the Botanical Garden with the family.

45 minutes. 14.1 miles.

The first pic is just of the cascading hill program I did. For the first time in a few weeks I felt good when I finished working out. No little aches or pains. My eating today was okay. Baby steps.

3.03 miles. 30 minutes. 9:55 pace.

My feet felt sore during this run. It’s amazing what a difference 20 pounds makes.

My breakfast and dinner eating was great. Lunch was average and then I enjoyed a s’more when we built a fire tonight. Have to enjoy this amazing late July weather!

35 minutes on the bike. 10.3 miles.

I did a rolling hill workout. It was a nice change from the usual manual workout.

Time to nap, hang some shelves and then take the oldest boy to a movie.

WIF (on Saturday)

237.5

Down 1.8

It could have been more but I’ve eaten well the past three nights. I did exercise 3 times last week which was an improvement over recent week.

Lots on the to-do list this weekend!

13 miles on the bike. 40 minutes.

Stayed on track with my eating again today.

Came home and got caught up in analyzing student achievement data that was just released tonight. Finally time for bed.

3 miles. 29:48. 9:56 pace.

It wasn’t the easiest run but I got through it.

I managed to keep my eating in check all day and also survived a work meeting I’ve stressed about for a month. I didn’t just survive; it was awesome.

Someday I will learn.

30 minutes on the bike. 8.75 miles doing a hill program.

Talking about selling our house and buying a new one in the next year. Equally exciting and overwhelming at the same time!
